SMART FISH – Sustainable gastronomy activity

Abstract/Aim
The project Smart Fish: Restauração Sustentável aims to present the development and inclusion of the concept of sustainable consumption of sea food. It is intended to investigate how the fish that are underappreciated from a commercial point of view can be used to boost and innovate the gastronomy of the city of Peniche, while contributing to the flow of the species concerned traded in the local auction and instilling in consumers and restaurants the responsibility of practicing “sustainable consumption”.
