Anzol+: Innovation and knowledge transfer between scientists and hook and line fishermen (MAR2020)

Abstract/Aim
The Anzol+ project aims to promote environmentally sustainable, efficient, innovative, competitive and knowledge-based fishing. Working directly with fishermen, we intend to promote the implementation of measures and good practices in the capture and manipulation of marine resources, always with a view to a balance between the preservation of resources and their economic exploitation. In this project, we want to create an appropriate management system, which will result in the valorisation of the fish. Anzol+ is the result of our work with fishermen operating in the Peniche area and the Berlengas Archipelago (for example in the LIFE Berlengas and MedAves Pesca projects).
