Subaquatic species guide
Abstract/Aim
The objective of this work is to provide a photographic guide of the species of algae and marine animals of mainland Portugal, Madeira, and Azores that can be observed mainly by diving (snorkel or scuba diving). It is a scientific guide but accessible to any audience. All of the more than 600 species presented (from algae to marine mammals) can be found in the Portuguese coast (mainland and islands).
