MARINE INVADERS – The impact and mechanisms of success of invasive seaweed Asparagopsis armata on coastal environments

Abstract/Aim
Invasions by exotic species can cause economic and ecological problems and are recognized as threats to the oceans (for example, the red seaweed Asparagopsis armata). It is intended to unveil mechanisms that promote its toxicity and the extent of impact.
