Hub4Food – Atlantic Food Innovation Hub

Abstract/Aim

Hub4Food is a project that brings people and organizations together to make the food industry in the Atlantic region better. They want to create a hub, which is like a center for new ideas, where agriculture and food groups, along with research organizations, can work together more closely. The goal is to improve the connections and abilities of the food industry, especially when it comes to making new and better food products, with a focus on those from the sea.

Hub4Food plans to set up a program that is guided by what the market needs. This program will test and approve new technologies that can be used in the food industry. They also want to create a way for research organizations and businesses, especially small ones, to work together. Additionally, they’ll offer support services to food businesses, helping them overcome challenges and meet their needs. They will include everyone involved in the process – researchers, policymakers, and the public – to make sure their approach is well-rounded.

Overall, Hub4Food’s aim is to boost innovation, make the food industry more competitive, and ensure it’s sustainable in the long run.
